Thank goodness somebody took a leap in bridging the gap between banks and small businesses in terms of loan. This gap was filled by private lenders who are not directly connected to banks but managed to innovate by making sure small businesses have someone to lean on in times of need. Personally, there’s nothing wrong in banks trying to bridge the gap. It will be a challenge to private lenders. It is up to these private lenders to keep at par with banks and be more flexible in repayment schemes to ensure that small and medium-sized businesses seeking for loan will stick to them.
